Awesome Target Run!

Our landlord arranged for our home to be visited by the pest control peeps this evening, and since I'm a stickler for such things (even though it wasn't necessary), the kids and I made plans to meet up with Russ after he left work. So, we had dinner at IHOP. Kids eat free with each paying adult from 4-10pm everyday! Then we took a field trip to Target. :) We made out like bandits to say the least! See the math below:

Total Before Coupons: $99.47
Money Spent: $4.20

Baking For The Soldiers & More!

This was my first time baking for Operation Baking Gals, and I finally got all of my things together to go out today. We actually ended up sending out 2 boxes. Since send out time coincided with the weekend before school started we only made 8 dozen cookies this time around. They were Coconut Lime and Peanut Butter with Sprinkles. We did however send a bunch of other goodies as well as an additional box filled with toiletries! We are really excited to do this again next time!

Kroger 50% Kellogg/Keebler Sale

I barely made it to the 50% off Kellogg/Keebler sale at Kroger on Saturday. We were so busy with bargain shopping and birthday parties that it had sort of slipped my mind almost to the last minute! But, I made it, so here's what we ended up with. I used a combination of regular manufacturer's coupons as well as some coupons from the Fuel for School booklets that are out.

Total Saved: $28.87 (63%)

*I will also be submitting my receipt for the Kellogg's Fuel for School $10 rebate, so that will bring my total down to $8.71 oop, and 82% saved.*
